i think Schneider with Hughes would be crazy so I'm gonna go with that.

why are the picks so drastic bc the Avs and Rangers trades. Barron and Schneider are not that different in terms of prospect level

RHDs are valued higher and those two are some of the best prospects at that position. By comparison Lundkvist has fallen out of favour in NYR.

Any of them except for the Schneider trade. It's schnieder and a first. Schneider != Miller.

Just want to make sure I’m reading that right, is it 1st and Barron vs a 3rd and Schneider, that’s why I’m asking bc it seems like a drastic difference in draft picks for similar of not equal d prospects

Yea you have it right. I thought Schneider was a better prospect but that pick disparity seems a bit extreme now that you mention it. Maybe switch them both to a 2nd.

Barron + 2nd for Miller retained
Schneider + 2nd for Miller retained

How on earth have you managed to come up with that? Seems like speculation at best.

I really like Schneider, but the Capitals trade is the best overall.

That was probably the wrong way to put it. More like Ranger would rather move Lundkvist than Schneider.
