JT Miller would look good back in New York. Not sure trading essentially 3-first round picks is the right move though. No matter how good of a player you're getting, gross overpayments really spoil the pleasure fast.

tampa not wanting to move cernak shouldn't mean overpayment. idk, i just am not that high on him. To give up similar value to Miller seems extreme.

My lower bar limit has been Schneider and a first. I really don't think Krav is that valuable any more, but he isn't even needed so if that's a difference maker keep him out.

I understand you aren't a believer in Vitali but that is honestly irrelavent as Drury values him that highly in his trade talks and believes in his abilities.

Schneider was held off the table in trade talks for Eichel. JT Miller can't hold Eichel's skates. Flat out.

Most I'd do Is Lundkvist + 1st and maybe Chytil or another prospect if Motte is in the deal. I don't know how else to put it but the ask from VAN is too substantial to be met. (Eichel saga 2.0)

I don't think its that our ask is too high as much as the rangers view too much worth in their prospects. Asking a middle pair D and a first isn't that insane for a point per game player with two years (especially given that most mock trades include retention). I see his ceiling as more of a 3D than in the elite conversation.

Fortunately, Lundkvist, Chytil and a first for Miller half retained is something I'm game for. I view this as equivalent to Schneider and a 1st.

Yes I'm super low on Vitali. I know the rangers aren't, but at the price by which they value him, I'd rather not even see him in a mock trade than conform to the amount of value the ownership sees him as worth. You don't need to see him in the same light as I do, and as such just keep him out of the trade entirely.

Tampa says no. He has more value to Tampa than he does in a trade

I mean you are going to need retention in order for this to work and its gonna cost more

we would need someone to replace miller and kravtsov isnt gonna cut it
nils has to be replaced by schnieder or the deals off

That's fair but trying to make you understand we had JT Miller in his darker years which is why we may be a little less trigger happy here. We know him in and out and his performance in VAN is new to us obviously.
