Isles just keep the better, cheaper player because a minor add to that won't be enough to get Mayfield

While a trade like that makes sense long term, our schedule is about to be compressed and we need a goalie who can handle a workload. I'd bet on that guy being Mrazek over Mikko 9 times out of 10

Holl is 100 times better than Mayfield for TO's system. Muzzin has had trouble this year with his foot speed, he needs a partner that can move the puck up ice quickly, that is not Mayfield. Mayfield just stands in front of his own net and let's teams blast away. That would be horrendous in TO, he would get hemmed in all the time. He does not fit a puck possession system.

Mayfield is not the better defenceman. He is a square peg in the square let the other team blast away from the outside system the Islanders play. Make him move around and maintain possession and he's horrible. Slow, bruiser who can't do anything with the puck. He's a better Gudbranson who would never succeed in TO's system. Holl has his faults but he's far better for what TO does than Mayfield would ever be.

Yup, I agree. I wouldn't move Mrazek at all.

Mrazek isnt the answer for edmonton he's too inconsistent. They are ideally looking for someone who is a consistent .916 mrazek is the same league as koskinen.

I don't think toronto is a player on crouse as he will get like 2.75 million on his next contract.

If the Leafs add Robertson and a 3rd I'd consider it.

I wouldn't do that if I was EDM. The minor upgrade in talent is not worth the risk Mrazek and his contract is carrying.

Easy no from ARI and NYI. Crouse could get that return and even more without including a cap dump like Ritchie, which would raise the price even more. And since NYI is getting the worse and more expensive player, something would need to be added to make it worthwhile for them.
