I got the idea for the:
Bear trade from https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/3004097
Koskinen trade from https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/544867
Barrie trade from https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/3004442

We don’t need to be bailing out Edmonton.
Quoting: CD282
Edmonton's not touching that with a 10 foot pole. Pysyk has very little value, not close to Barrie's value for sure.
Quoting: Caniac555
24 year old RFA RHD will not be traded for a rental 3rd pairing guy and a dart throw

If I’m dealing Bear, it’s in a package for Klingberg, certainly not for Colin Miller.
Quoting: Fjordy
Canes probably pass, I don’t know why we need this deal with Edmonton, I would prefer Pysyk over Barrie, he is better defensively and makes some sense for Buffalo at this stage.
These would be great trades for Buffalo.
Both Edmonton and Carolina would reject these deals, Buffalo would faint if the deals were offered.
Since I saw these trades I wanted to get affirmation that my thoughts were in line with other ACGM's.
Bear > Pysyk
Barrie > Miller
Koskinen > Houser or Dell
All for only a fourth round pick.
Buffalo has sufficient cap space to take on both Barrie and Koskinen.
While neither Barrie nor Bear are #1 pairing defensemen Buffalo only has Jokiharju signed next year to play RHD with only Laaksonen in the pipe line.
