I’d do a sign and trade Klingberg for Lundell straight up. I wanted Dallas to trade up to draft him.

I don't see a scenario where that makes sense for the Panthers. They simply can't afford to extend Klingberg, even if it was at a more reasonable number than his current asking price. Essentially-You extend Klingberg, you lose Huberdeau.

Lundell has had an up and down rookie season, but his ELC (and upside) are far too valuable to the Panthers to ship out for a defenceman that they really don't need. With Ekblad, Weegar, Montour and Gudas all signed as RD's, Klingberg doesn't fill the hole that the Panthers *should* be looking to fill.

What is it that Florida needs beyond this playoff run, in your opinion?

A solid option on at LD would be a smart move. Don't think it needs to be a big name though. Honestly, everyone keeps sending Chiarot to the Oilers for a 1st+3rd, but I'd bet he ends up in Florida for a 2nd+B prospect.
