Kings would need some help getting the cap to work, so I'd throw in Maatta + a RHD prospect to offset (not Faber or Clarke). Or they could have Sean Walker (w/ no sweetener).

LA probably would prefer moving the 2022 1st over the 2023 since the 2023 is regarded as the better crop. I like the proposal though

I like it. Especially the 2023 prospects seem like a better bunch than this year's.

The asking price has been cited as "huge" and equivalent to around 3 1sts. With all the rumored teams involved (ANA, LAK, STL with CAR added as well as FLA, CBJ and NYR today by Marek and Friedman) the price is going to be steep. This is not close. Someone is going to meet the price. Setting aside what has been reported, I'm of the personal opinion Turcotte isn't an ideal return. There are plenty of centers in this and next years draft so having him as a centerpiece of the trade doesn't make sense for me. I'd be very disappointed if it turned out to be the case.
