Swap Dickinson with Bolduc and add Kostin

He isn't worth all that. We need a 1 year contract on a LD who won't cost much who will likely bounce in FA. Target someone like Gio or Chara.

Chara is washed, Gio has a big cap hit and not sure what the ask is but porbably just not worth it, another pair of old legs. Might as well stick with what we've got and save the head ache if that's all we could get. If Anaheim decides to deal Lindholm, he's the guy they need to go after. He'd be a perfect fit. If not, make the deal work for Chychrun. No Chiarot either, been watching alot of Montreals games and individually hes been terrible, cant keep up and takes so many bad penalties because of it, would be another Scandella pick up.

I originally had this opinion, too. However, Chychrun is signed for 3 more years after this season at a bargain price so it's not like we'll be handing him a hefty contract in a year or two. It's a no brainer for the Blues to land this guy if they want to truly contend. Scotty P is great and will be a fine player, but Chychrun would make us strong top-5 contenders for the cup this year and years to come with his contract.

Don't think a Kostin will need to be added. Of course, Scandella likely blocks a trade to Arizona.

Kostin definitely wouldn't be added with Perunovich and Bolduc in the mix. Hell, I'd offer Perunovich, Kostin, Scandella, 1st & 3rd all day. Could even put a contingency on the 3rd round pick to make it a 2nd rounder if xyz happens.
