Colorado takes that. I'd bet they'd try and add another pick to get some retention

They definitely would, and it would allow them to reload in the offseason.

I think Avs run with this. Might even throw in another pick and/or prospect to get Motte in there as well.

Bad deal for Vancouver. Must be a this years first if we want to be competitive in 2-3 years. Also need a better RHD prospect. Schneider from New York would be ideal but he’s off limits

NYR fans so kinda meaningless. I don’t see why they wouldn’t trade Schneider (position of huge strength) for a top 15 NHL forward. They’d be stupid not to

Ya Rangers fans on here can say he's off limits all they want but he definitely isn't. Might be easier to get lundkvist but Schneider isn't untouchable at all.

The majority of Rangers fans saying that don't seem to understand the age of their core forwards Panarin, Zib, Kreider, Strome are late 20s or early 30s.

Should be an easy no for the Avs, especially with no retention.

Lol, then how come everyone else, including other Avs fans are saying that they should take Miller for that package and run? They're even saying the Avs should add another pick to get Vancouver to retain salary

@TJTwolf is the only Avs fan on this thread so far, and he's right. Miller would be great, but Colorado won't be giving that much up for him with no retention.

A trade I proposed awhile back was Barron, 1st, Ranta but that was with 50% retention. I'm not even sure Sakic would do that, but I think it's fair. The problem here is no retention and multiple roster players, which hurts Colorado's bottom six.

Because there aren't actually any Avs fans agreeing with it. Try again!

If he's the only Avs fan, then what are you?

I said "so far" in my post, which makes it accurate. I was the second, and I agree with the take.
