Why the hell would Toronto give up a good prospect for a 4th liner? Y’all are crazy

I don't think you'll be able to keep Hamonic on LTIR, so you would have to move him or you'd be over the cap.

Shouldn't sign anyone big this year, next year we keep Horvat and make a splash with a UFA signing or offersheet

I guess that's an option. I would probably rather just keep him and not sign Stecher. Still under the cap if you do that.

No, your 4th liner isn't worth the 19 year old who's headed to the olympics.

It's not but it's a good indication of how he lines up to the world juniors team he was on. Needless to say, its a good indication that he's a valuable prospect while Motte isn't worth anything.

Just looking at a couple prospect lists, with Podkolzin and Hoglander graduated to the NHL Knies would instantly be the Canucks top prospect. That's not something you get for Tyler Motte.

Drury counters with Greg McKegg and a 5th round pick, sound good?

They said prospect. That literally could be anyone. It definitely would not be Kines. It's a wild ask. You literally have Motte getting back a substantially better return than Montour. Montour is worth much more than Motte.
