Dallas declines. Price for Klingberg is a 1st + a solid prospect

Only way I see Klingberg getting moved to Tampa is if Cal Foote is a part of the return package. Rutta can be added for cap purposes, but Dallas more value in order to make this trade with Tampa.

And TB doesn't do it because they loose Foote, Katchouk, Raddysh for nothing on top of the other assets not happening none of those players are waivers exempt and would certainly be claimed. As JBB said in his midseason presser we're not giving up our really good young players on great contracts.

If Tampa can add a decent prospect in the JK deal instead of Foote and figure out the cap(would likely take double retention on Klingberg), then I could see it. Tampa could then add a 21st player. Tampa could also trade one of the younger players in one of these trades or a separate one to avoid losing one to waivers. I do think adding both of these pieces are helpful, Crouse for beyond this year and Klingberg for this run, but not at the cost of Foote.
