Description

Fleury wants to chase another cup.
Kane wants to play for a contending team and get back together with his old boyfriend, the bread man.
DeHaan has been great on the top pairing for us and would serve a contending team well. Carpy is a great and cheap bottom six forward that does a lot of the important things you don't really see on paper.
Murphy goes home to Ohio and gives Columbus a great defensive minded RD with term. Stillman gives them a very promising young LD.

I wish edmonton could get fluery but i think Colorado will get him just because he has a NMC and can pick where he goes.

Colorado doesn't have the pieces to make it work. At least not that they are willing to part with. Plus, unless they are planning on having an absolute beast of a goalie tandem, Fleury wouldn't be enough of an upgrade on Kuemper to give anything up.

The thing is I don't think kuemper is elite level at least not good enough to steal a playoff series whereas fluery is. Some of the pundits have started to say they could see a 3 way trade where kuemper goes to edmonton picks go to Colorado and those same picks go to chicago for Flower.

Fleury is only a 10 team NTC. If it were submitted at the beginning of the season, the Oilers might not be on it. If it was submitted recently there'd be zero chance of the Oiler getting him.

I would say that just because of Covid and the fact that MAF's family is in the US there is a strong possibility all canadian teams are on it but i dont know edmonton is obviously seriously looking for a goalie now so they will find out.

NYR are going to lose one of Kakko, Keandre Miller, or Lafreniere most likely. A lot depends on Ryan Strome. That being said Patrick gets you one of those three players above but a combo of the two plus Kravtsov is way too much of steal for Chicago
