I like these deals a lot for Dallas. So they're probably overpayments by other teams.

I don’t see the Leafs adding Liljegren to that deal, Edmonton adding Yamamoto to that deal, or the Rangers adding Lundkvist to that deal.

maybe. I think the most realistic one is the Toronto one. They could take back Niemela instead, but I'm sure they're higher on him than Liljegren

No shot the Leafs move Liljegren for a rental. They will want to move one of Dermott/Holl.

I also imagine the Stars would have a lot of interest in Nick Robertson

Probably an overpay for Holtby, or at least Edmonton would likely prefer to move a different player

I think otherwise. Niemelä is an interesting project, but Liljegren is already at the NHL, young RHD who's cost controlled. The other one hasn't even been signed under contract and has signed for another year in Finland.

I'd be very glad if DAL could land either Liljegren or Robertson from TOR, provided Klingberg gets traded there.

Oilers are not trading an effective top 9 forward who’s young and has team control for a goalie who may only play 5-10 games for them… makes no sense

trading for 2 years of Duncan Keith at 5 mil didnt make sense either. It's definitely posssible
