Description

If DAL is out of playoff race and not willing to extend Klingberg, would they be open to bringing in a long-term young RD to replace him, along with some more futures?

Value looks like:

Klingberg = Monahan + Zary + 2022 1st
Hintz = Andersson + 2nd

I think this is in the ballpark value-wise. Consider it a framework for the blockbuster of the year. Might need to sweeten it a bit somewhere. But also serves some needs for both teams. DAL won’t be quick to trade Hintz, but Andersson is a very valuable trade chip. Possibly holds the most value of any player in the deal. Proven top 3 RD, young, great contract, plenty of upside.

I’d be willing to sell Hintz at the rate of what Chychrun is going to be on sale for, which is not cheap.

You can have Klingberg for Monahan+Zary+1st. But you can't get Hintz. He's untouchable for us at the moment.

Let’s take Monahan and Hintz out of the picture.

Anderson would be the main chip for Klingberg. There would have to be a 1st and Klingberg would need an 8 year deal. Still, I don’t think that’s enough. Zary is losing value this year, but he might be too valuable in your eyes in this package. What do you add to make it work?
