Bertuzzi is the only NHL player not vaccinated. Him going to a Canadian team is a non-starter.

I doubt you will get anything for Ritchie, it's likely you'd have to add picks to move him. I don't think Holl is worth a 2nd. Detroit might consider that.

Yes we need a defence man, but we need at least one good top 4 defence man, not a bottom pair defence man.

Haha, and that defines how good Bouchard is? Bouchard is actually good, and if you watched the game, we were very good. Florida was just the better team, we took too many penalties, and Bobrovsky was a beast! Bouchard was literally on the third pair…

Holl might be worth a 4th. Not the 2nd on its own. Ritchie cleared waivers, why would someone pay assets. You want to move him it’s an asset attached u less the guy starts scoring .5 ppg. The DET deal is interesting and let’s remove the vax part. Seider is a perfect D man. Highly offensive, physical, defensively only going to improve. <- unicorn. But so is Mitch but his term doesn’t work for DET(the big miss for Dubas). Bert is obviously better than Kerfoot and again more physical which is exactly what TOR needs and the picks probably make up for it but the term on kerfoot isn’t right again. DET says no specifically based on terms of contracts and where their window of contending is. Plus the gap at PPQB (8-11M) type of guy missing after moving him while he’s on his ELC. Yzerman also knows what it takes to win and isn’t going to hand it over to make his team less gritty. He knows how important the Drapers of the world are to a playoff team.

Take out Seider and the wings would accept. Marners contract is a big reason why, plus the timeline of the team. Bertuzzi is a ppg player right now, on pace for 40 goals, plays a 200 foot game, is physical, no reason to move him. So if you would want a player like Bertuzzi and want to shed the cap of Marner, it would have to be an overpay so basically that deal with out Seider would be it.
Also unfortunately Ritchie doesn't get any return and Holl doesn't get that return.
