Cirelli is fantastic but Stamkos and Point are both natural top 6 centers. The Isles could use a guy like Cirelli for the 2nd line and PK, but he has a higher value than Beauvillier (hence the pick trade in 2023 because 2022 is too valuable to NYI). Foote will develop to be better than Mayfield but the Lightning want results NOW, in their window, so an experienced 2nd/3rd pairing d-man could help with that (also part of the pick trade). It makes sense to me. ALSO both Beauvillier and Cirelli are playoff performers, so there's no loss there on either side.

I highly doubt TBL has interest in this. As an NYI fan its an interesting proposal. C is our strong point however theres too much value here to decline it. I would make this deal from the isles side.
