Gotta think AZ accepts that deal. Don't know if FLA is willing to give all that up.

My thoughts as well, but have to think FLA will seriously be rewarded short-term

What a terrible deal for FLA. You are giving up a future NHL starting goalie, a future high end 2C and a 1st for something FLA doesn't need which is a top pairing D man. FLA should be looking more at a guy like Sanheim that would cost a lot less.

that's probably Az wish list bait... but Flo doesn't jump in.
maybe Juolevi, Tippett, , 1st... but Fl shouldn't include Lundell

Meh. Gotta think it's more than that...Juolevi isn't good, Tippett is basically Lawson Crouse but slightly better. Maybe Denisenko+1st+something good.

Yeah, no...If you're Florida and you're absolutely facing cap uncertainty going forward, you don't trade 2 bonified NHLers that you have multiple years of cheap control over.

Florida is a realistic option for a Chychrun trade, because LD is the only visible hole, but that Marek report was insanity.

Marek never specifically said this was what was going on. He said if Florida wants Chychrun he believes this would be the cost to do so.

That's sorta where I was going with that...if he think the Yotes could get both Knight and Lundell, IMO, it's insanity.

If Bill Armstrong could pull something like that off though, he should win executive of the year.

Those two are the only untouchable prospects on the cats. This is a mcdavid type ask for someone who would be the third best d on this team. I would him on this team but it’s not worth what this reporter who needs to be medicated has said.

I'd argue that return for Chychrun is the most value in a trade, *in the form of picks and prospects only*, in NHL history........... I get Fla is trying to win now but Chychrun doesn't turn water into wine for gods sake.

Marek didn't say Lundell, Knight and a 1st is the asking price in that article... This is never going to happen
