Nashville Fans Get In Here

Created by: Randominoe
Team: 2021-22 Vancouver Canucks

Description
Canucks looking for an RD prospect, and they may need to start getting minutes in the NHL this year and next so Luke Schenn becomes expendable. Considering he is on a league-minimum contract and a strong depth piece for a contender, just wondering if Nashville could part with some draft capital to upgrade on Matt Benning.

NSH doesn’t need a RHD— they have Fabbro, Carrier, Benning, and Myers. No need for Schenn. And he’s definitely not getting a 3rd.

I’m just expecting a bidding war and could see the price getting up to a third for a third pairing guy making league minimum, of course I’m no NHL GM.

Honestly when I was looking for a contender with RD holes I missed Fabbro on the IR. Maybe the leafs looking to switch up their D-Core idk

Lose-lose. Schenn is a really hard worker but has negligible trade value. Van is better off keeping him and trading Harmonic imo

Now this is a take I don't really agree with lol, Schenn is a solid third pairing defenceman making league minimum while Hamonic is essentially the same making three times as much, I would argue that Hamonic is the negative asset in this equation but I guess we'll wait and see what the Canucks do.
