I haven't. But others have. And it sounds like Philly's SC has literally fallen off a cliff!

I don't think Dr. Drai is the prob...

The Prob:
D wins Championships, check out EDM D, G-Man & PK stats...fu-jugg-ly!

Yes. That’s why most of my changes were on the back end.

For sure but not the Drai-SC fiasco you have ^ ^ ^.
I'd say nix that trade-call O-fan...

For one: C Hart is still way too much of a wild card - in the NHL thus far he's gone on a single 2-3 month heater (in a big hockey market) and was over-hyped/over-sold but since has mostly under-delivered!
Recall too - Philly D has been 'strong' so we thought!!

i'm not sure bringing in more offensive defensemen (gustafsson is literally the worst defenseman in his own zone i've ever seen, montour is also an O-zone guy) and philadelphia's goaltending duo (lol) is the solution to edmonton's problems

Good point about goaltending - I swapped Jones out for Holtby. I’m also switched Gustoffson out n favour of Mark Pysyk, who’s better defensively.

Hart went on a heater for a while, then sucked last year, but he's been good this year. He also has a track record of being elite at every level he's ever played at. And Philly's D has sucked this year, they haven't had Ryan Ellis and apparently have decided that that gives them the excuse they need to never show up to play hockey lol

I mean, it depends what you think of Couturier and his shiny new contract. If you think he's a bona fide 1C who you get to play on your 2nd line (70 pt Selke contender for the next 3-5 years at least), and Hart will be a top 10 starter, then it's probably fine value. If you're not as high on them maybe you ask for more. Not sure which way I'd lean, but I feel like I'd personally want a younger asset than Couturier, and a decent defenseman (or good D prospect) rather than the picks. The goal isn't to rebuild, but you do want to surround McDavid with a good, young core (including a top 4 that can play defense and a goalie that isn't a sieve) that will give the Oilers 3-5 years as a playoff lock (even if they miss next season) for McDavid to get unleashed. Not that I trust Holland to make a move like this at all though lol

I really like that Drai for both teams. If anything you could probably take a little off of the Oilers side or maybe add something for the Flyers

It hurts me to trade a guy of Drai’s calibur, but the team needs an upgrade in goal in the worst way. And Hart is affordable, at least in the short term.
