Highly doubt the Hawks move Hagel and the Hawks don't have any use for Holl or Ritchie obviously, and while I get getting a first round pick back is important, that is going to be a very late 1st round pick. I'd pass on this.

Understandable but I want Hagel what do I need to add for the deal to go through.

Ritchie and Holl are there for salary cap constraints. Honestly we can easily move Holl to get assets for this trade if that is preferred and make it a 3 team trade

Yeah, Ritchie and Holl are cap dumps as far as the Hawks are concerned as they have young players on ELCs they will play over those guys. I don't see the Hawks moving Hagel. You don't rebuild and trade guys under 25 years old who are having breakout seasons. Picks are always a crap shoot so don't see that making sense for Hagel.

Fair but still what do y’all want for Hagel lol. I want to create our own shutdown line and Hagel is a great complement to it plus 3yrs at 1.5 million is a steal for the player he is.

Also is William Villeneuve, Holl and 2nd fair for De Hann?

I think Hawks would do De Haan for a 2nd for sure with retention. Not sure they would take on Holl though. Villeneuve may be enough to move the needle for that though so something I'm sure they would consider.

hawks decline. Not that we're trading Hagel but if we did I would hope we ask for Amirov back. Statistically theres like a 30% chance the first pans out to be a decent NHL player. Not worth it for Hagel who is only 23 and locked in 1.5M x 3. The 2nd is good for dehaan 50% retained, ritche and Holl are nothing and likley even negative value in the end.

If you want Hagel, and reports are they are listening on him… you should start with higher quality assets and tread lightly with the cap dumps. The first round pick is nice in theory, but as others have said it’s likely to be a late first. My starting price would be Knies and your first this year. That’s both a reflection of how good Hagel is as well as how efficient his contract is.

Knies, Amirov, Robertson and Niemela are out of the question . Hiroven and Abruzzese and a 1st would that work?
