I think Vancouver does that in a heartbeat if Halak waives

Yeah, I think it's fair. ZAR is definitely a good fit for Boudreau and IMO on his own COULD be worth a 3rd to some times, so I think this balances.

If u throw Crouse on the 4th line I don’t think they should bother dealing those assets. I also don’t think you’ll get what u want from Crouse there. Not his spot he’s a guy imo that needs someone to drive a line for him and he can complement that. A team with a missing middle six LW is where he’s going

Sully will probably be shuffling things around a bit, but he also gives his 4th lines good ice time in prime situations when they are playing well, so Crouse will boost the scoring there, bring physicality and probably gets a few occasional shifts next to Sid or Geno in those games where teams are taking liberties.

Also, if you know the Pens at all, the chances we have a 100% healthy lineup at any point is slim to none lol

No, we can just sign him in free agency, no point in giving up a pick for ZAR

Arizona could get a better return. Crouse is on pace for a 20-20 season and all 10 of his goals this season have come at 5v5. That's quality production. And his shot chart looks great. He is getting a ton of high quality shots in close.

Probably. That's why I noted this is probably the most they'd be able to offer.

I'd consider Kapanen. Use whatever he would have received next season to retain Rust, Malkin, and Letang. I think Crouse would be cheaper to re-sign anyway.

I'm not against it, but then AZ would need to add and I'm not sure they'd feel the need to pay any futures to get someone like Kapanen at this point in their rebuild.

Kapanen for Crouse and Larsson. Larsson fills the ZAR hole. I'm just spitballing ideas here. If Sully moves Kap off Geno's wing with the emergence of ERod I'm just wondering if the Pens have long term interest in keeping Kap around. Productive player, but very inconsistent in his effort.
