Labelled as week to week, no idea what that means but at least 10 games or 24 days.

Looks like Perfetti will 100% stay up past his 9 games at this time.

Further to your LTIR point, Wiebe and Billeck saying the earliest Ehlers could return is February 14th but it could always be longer.

Also, yay Perfetti.

Well that sucks, Ehlers is one of the few reasons left to watch this team.. lol

Personally I don't think they should waste the first year of Perfetti's ELC, they're not going anywhere this season.
I know many are excited to see him and want him in the lineup but I just don't see the rationale for it myself, also once Wheeler returns there's a chance Perfetti ends up in the bottom six which isn't where he should be.

Obviously Lowry doesn't like Svech...he is benched. WPG was 9-3 for a reason when he was with Connor and Dubois

Poganski in and Svechnikov scratched is a joke!

Interesting that Stanley is scratched, could be argued that while Stanley has struggled a bit Schmidt has really struggled as well and might be worthy of sitting out a game.

Terrible news. As long as the team was relatively healthy, I figured that you were pretty sure of the second wild-card playoff spot in the Western Conference. Now it's not so clear.

Now it is even more brutal. Jets' chance to make the playoffs:
35% - The Athletic
35% - Playoff Status
42% - Money Puck
43% - Hockey Reference

Plus the eye test has not been kind.

They haven't looked good in too many games this season and this afternoon game against the Bruins was another in a long list of dull efforts from the Jets, this team needs a big shakeup imo.

I agree. Also the new voice doesn't seem to be helping much, with the new guy leading the team to a 4-4-1 record. After the all-star break the Jets have 41 games in 81 days (if I counted correctly) and the first set of opponents are ARI, COL, CGY, CHI, DAL x2, EDM, MIN x2, NSH, SEA -- which might result in 9 of 22 points.

Today against Boston, I liked our first period, but the last two we lost interest. Though as always the Connor, Dubois, and Perfetti duo looked decent. Hellebuyck looked burnt out, he clearly needs a rest. I say next game give Berdin the start. I'm actually interested to see what he can do. Also keep scratching Stanley and leave Samberg in the lineup. I've found out that Stanley turns the puck over way too much, I seriously don't understand why the Jets organization are super high on him.

One more thing to mention: I would consider putting DeMelo and Dillon together. This would create a shutdown pair which the Jets lack. The D pairs should look like this:

JoMo- Schmidt
Samberg-Pionk
Dillon-DeMelo

Might as well start a retool here, we aren't going anywhere. I say trade one of Schief or Copp and buy out Wheeler's contract.
