Reasoning:
Arizona: Team is Offloading for a Rebuild and While Toews Isn’t exactly an Upgrade the Acquisition of Newhook certainly helps for the Future and the Picks are thrown in to make the Trade Happen.
Colorado: Chychrun becomes Colorado’s No.1 LHD and perfect D Partner to Compliment Makar.

New York: Rangers Get their Much Needed 2nd Line Center and a Permanent Backup for Shesterkin
Colorado: Colorado Gets a Solid Goalie to Battle Kuemper for the Starting job, and a solid Depth Forward in Chytil who can play various roles, Kravtsov’s Value has diminished since requesting a Trade and would likely have a Spot next season, The picks are added to match the Value of Kadri.

Toews > Chychrun. This is an extremely bad deal for COL. Also trading Kadri for much lesser players is probably the stupidest thing they could do now.

You just made Colorado way worse. I’ve been following this team since the days of Stastny and Duchene and wouldn’t wanna see this happen.

Avs are stacked defensively already, getting chych is just overkill. And trading Kadri for stuff they absolutely dont need doesnt make sense.

Yeah, because if there's one area the Avalanche need to improve, it's the defense.

For sure. That may end up one of the worst trades in Isles history when said and done imo. Thinking Chara or Luongo level bad. Worse when Colorado wins a cup one of these days.
