Sharks probably decline, they can’t afford to take Backlunds contract on for two additional years at $5+ mil a year.

Sharks trade makes no sense for either team. Overpay for a rental and Backlund has no value to San Jose

Chychrun trade is ok but likely gets beat

Calgary is on pace for 7.5M TDL cap space, Pitlick is not an issue
