Nobody is paying for John Moore.

Ullmark not being traded for that.

Kadri contract will be a regret by year 3.

Don’t sign the guy that’s having the outlier season in his contract year. Wouldn’t ditch ullmark for that. Wouldn’t expect any team to give up an asset for a 5th round pick.

Hertl is three years younger. He is the one to target in free agency not Kadri.

Not sure about that either. He’s going to want a lengthy deal and i’m not sure he’s going to age well. Better option than Kadri for sure. Not sure he makes it to free agency either. With Kane gone their is mutual interest in an extension.

I share your concerns about him not aging well with the injuries he has had to his right knee. If he makes it to free agency there are not many teams that will be in a position to sign him. You would think he will command 8M per year. Limit an offer to 5 or 6 years. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Something to consider as well is that he was drafted in 2013 and is only two years older than Pastrnak who was a 2014 draft.
