It also kind of helps that Lundell is playing on a stacked cup contender and Chychrun is playing on one of, if not the worst team in the league right now, which is going through a rebuild. So of course Lundell is performing better than Chychrun this year, as he actually has a competent supporting cast. That being said, the Yotes won’t settle for a package from Florida without Lundell. That’s assuming they even decide the shop Chychrun, as he is a piece the Yotes want to build around.

It’s still a heck of a lot better than Arizona’s supporting cast. Florida also has the scoring capabilities to cover up their deficiencies, Arizona doesn’t have that luxury.

Florida would be stupid to trade Lundell, they could look elsewhere without giving up Lundell, there are a lot of good LDs in the league.
