Labanc is probably neutral to slightly negative value. Hertl will probably look similar to the Kevin hayes trade. Maybe a hair more.

Hertl- Sharks are currently negotiating an extension, so demand would probably be a lot. 1st (in 2022), A prospect, and either decent roster player or a 2nd (maybe with conditions on teams performance in the playoffs)

Labanc- Boughner kinda took a gun to his trade value. He’s injured rn too. If you asked me at the beginning of the season, I’d ask for like two 2nds or a 1st. Now probably a 2nd and a mediocre prospect.

Meier- No, big no on that swap. He’s gonna be a staple of the franchise, he will be here when we’re back at the top. At minimum, I’d ask for an Eichel level return of a couple 1st and at least one top prospect (think Rossi level).

I don’t think Hertl gets traded.

However looking at trades of similar rental players in the past you’d be looking at something along the lines of 1st a prospect in the Studnicka/Beecher/Lauko range and a lesser 3rd piece. Maybe squeeze a second of those prospects out of them.

Labanc would be looking at a B level prospect and a late pick if someone wanted the contract.

Don’t want anything Boston is willing to give up for Hertl, rather just resign him.

Labanc could really thrive with a decent coach putting him on a line with other good quality players but that hasn’t happened in San Jose so his value is way down. I could see a swap like Labanc for Faksa and a pick.

Sharks aren’t trading Timo whose top 10 in the league in points, certainly not for Konecny and no where near 1 for 1.

Flyers would probably have to add a first plus somebody like Frost for that to work
