I would absolutely love a Pavelski rental, especially since he could potentially sign in the offseason for "cheaper" given his age. But, DAL is still in the running (check points percentage). They'd have to really dive off in the next month to have it make sense. That line is too hot right now to risk it.

Unless the organization wants to do a swap of Miller for Chychrun, theres absolutely no reason to make this trade. Making this trade means we likely cant resign Strome and leaving us left with only 1 center. Since we would have traded our 1st rounder here, I cant imagine we could swing something with the Canucks for JT Miller with retention.
