Maybe I am just being biased Devils-homer here, but over past couple of seasons, I think Nico has been better in almost all aspects of the game.

Based on production I'd say not yet Pettersson has only 4 more points but he has also played 58 less games than Hischier. That's just one aspect of the game but I don't watch either of them play enough to comment further.

I like Batherson he is fun to watch but with the guys on this list I'd put him at 8 maybe even 7 because Carolina's top 6 is just ridiculous. But I've seen #Indatub.

I think Robertson is too low. His a point a game player half way though his second season.

But no one is even close to Makar seriously he is putting up video game numbers. Usually after a season or 2 other teams figure out how to slow a player down but he has a highlight reel play almost every game,

First two years, Pettersson was scoring a lot more and looking like he could be an all around 1C. But I just think Hischier is a more complete player.

Pettersson's ppg was high last season as well. When you compare their rels Pettersson's CF% rel 16.0 and his FW% rel is 15.2 while Hischier's CF% rel is 7.0 and his FW% rel is 6.7. Now when you look at zone starts Pettersson is starting in the offensive zone 3 time for every 1 dzone start and Hischier is about 2 to 2. But that just stats and its very debatable on how effective these new stats really are.
