Like all the trades of the UFAs....but don't think Ottawa should be in on one year of Miller.

Ouff yeah that’s too much. I’m all for signing Burakovsky in free agency

Way too much of an overpayment for Miller. Brown is a 50-60 point RWer and Grieg looks like he's going to be a top 6 forward, then you're adding Jarventie who's playing well in the AHL as a 19 year old plus a 1st round pick. That's the equivalent of 4 1st round picks for Miller who probably wouldn't even resign with us.

Canucks pass. That package doesn't fill our need for a young RHD and the pick isn't until '23. Also, Brown isn't a 50-60 point player, he has a career high of 43 points in a season.

Fair it doesn't address team needs but you could easily get a young RHD with what you're getting in that package value wise.

Brown is on pace for 60 points this season. He has been on pace for 50 in the past two seasons. So that's where I got 50-60 from. True his career high is 43 points but that was while playing 71 games which essentially puts his at around 50 points for a full season.

On pace to score 50-60 points is different than doing it.
