Even if that was value for thompson (it isnt) buffalo isnt moving him for older players and the leafs dont want hagg
And the other two are just brutal for toronto. Marchment is a 4th liner and worth like a 4th at deadline prices and graves isnt worth anything near muzzin.
This is a much worse team

Muzzin isn't waiving for Jersey, so the cap doesn't work. I can understand why Sabres wouldn't want to trade Thompson due his play and years of control

Thompson is just showing he's a player , they won't move him for that.

Marchment is a high-end bottom sixer. No way am I giving up Robertson for him. Muzzin won't waive, and the Sabres like Thompson

Robertson has such a bad history of long term injuries (very unlucky kid) that I thought it would be best to deal him now while he still holds value. Change the 3rd to a 2nd maybe or have a 3rd and a 5th. Marchment has size and brings energy to the game. Leafs never should have traded him.

Devils d-man have gotten pretty popular in Toronto, I guess. Have recently seen offers for Subban (a handful of them), Severson (too many to count), Siegenthaler, and now Graves.

Subban is the most available as a pending UFA (but that contract stands tall….would have to kick the legs out from under it). Graves is probably the next most available, and probably closer to Subban than to other two. Devils plan on keeping Severson and Siegenthaler and any trade for them would have to convince Fitzy otherwise.

why would Toronto trade with Florida when they're both battling each other in the divisional standings. None of them are helping each other out.
