Where'd you see the 40 game rumor? Just looking around, I saw that there's the potential for him to get suspended, but hadn't seen anything that large?

Good points on all sides. If there is a suspension I doubt they sign him, it sounds like we will know more about that by the end of the week. If he is not suspended I think he makes a positive impact (on the ice) right away.

I had been reading that the NHL had decided not to suspend as long as he signed with the Oilers as that would be punishment enough.
