hard pass. Devils have much bigger needs than an upgrade at LD. Gritsyuk playing fantastic and the top of the 2023 draft is incredible.

I think the Devils biggest short term need is goalie (but not sure that is addressed as much as just worked through). Biggest long term need is defense.

Anyway, I am just kicking the tires. The hope is that the 2023 pick won't be at the top of the draft.

And Gritsyuk is a stud

Colorado got Toews, Isles got Greene and we got Graves.

Tbf lou was desperate at that time with pelech out seemingly for the season and prices were only going to rise the closer to the TDL it got.

Always get a top guy if you can
Put a Pkg together, Zacha, Smith etc and more good qty (Bahl)

AZ pool is lean, lots of UFA's, they have tons of picks this year. Tap into our depth, offer pucks in 23
