In no world do the Kings make that trade. One of their best prospects at a time in which they are rebuilding for two aging players that will be depth players, if not retired, when they really start competing in 3-4 years.

I think it's hilarious how delusional Habs fans are. Do they live in an echo chamber or something? Imagine thinking Carey Price would get you two very nice assets in a trade!

That's a no from Edmonton. laugh

No Oilers decline. mental health and physical health is a massive question mark for price, not to mention too many yrs remaining on his contract, even if montreal maintains salary.
If montreal wants a guy like Broberg, Romanov needs to be coming back. Toffoli and Savard could also be potential fits in edmonton, but then barrie would have to be part of it.

Especially now that he's essentially started over on his knee rehab. Even at 50% retained those are significant assets and cap space for a guy who's timeline to being healthy is completely unknown.

No chance the Kings trade Brandt Clarke. And it's unlikely that we'd want Tyler Toffoli back.

The other California team says No, too. Lehkonen is worth at most a second and Armia at most a fourth, and I think I'm being a little generous there; that doesn't add up to a first. Plus, right now that pick is eleventh overall, and there are several possible scenarios by which it improves a slot or two, and very few by which it gets later.

100% agree. But even at that, it's not the knee injury that makes his contract so risky, it's the substance abuse.
