Hahah, he's a very safe pick and a big center I needed in a few years once Dubinsky and Carter are away. Gives him plenty of time in college and to play behind those aforementioned guys to really learn the pros. He seems to do everything well. Saw comparables to Jordan Staal

Was deciding on Kostin but decided Poehling was safer haha

Like I said before, early 2nd rounders can be equivalent to mid 1sts. Not a bad move imo, though I would assume you have another guy in mind for your early 2nd rounder since you didn't wait to use that pick on him.
