remove zub, sogaard, boucher, and the 1st and add zaitsev and ottawa might consider. why are we giving up prime assets to get a 7 years older, injury prone goalie on a longer term deal (2 extra years) with a significantly higher aav (4.25mil per year more) and who has only shown up for like 30 games in the last 3 seasons? nobody wants a 10.5mil passenger for the regular season in the hopes that he’ll be good and healthy in the playoffs through his mid- and late-30s

Absolutely ridiculous. He had that Cinderella run last year, but let's face reality for a moment. He'll be 35 next year, makes 10mil and has massive question marks about his future, and a major history of inconsistent play. Why would this be a good deal for Ottawa?
