I think I would rather trade it for a winger. Eventually, they have to start being serious about actually creating a competitive team and not stay in this stagnant rebuild process.

Do you think we should've traded for Tarasenko last off season? The rumor I heard was if you take his full cap, St.Louis was asking for a 2nd round pick and a B prospect.

Probably if the most we were giving up was cap space. But I do think Wingers are always available, so whenever we are ready for a playoff run, we will be able to add then. Unfortunately, with our current goaltending and lack of defensive depth, we are a ways from the playoffs.

Hopefully Blackwood gets healthy, Luke, Muk, and the kids develop on blueline….and we are get to point where we dip our toes in the winger pool. But I think that’s the final move, not the first one.

How do you feel about this season so far? I wasn't expecting playoffs, but I was expecting us to be 5-8 points out of a playoff spot and in most of the games. Pretty disappointed so far. What do you think and how do you feel about this team this moment?

I think everything has gone largely as expected other than goaltending. Hard to really blame anyone or anything. And still half of season left.
