Bobcat’s Post Game Notes, Game 41

Jackets win 5-3 over the New York Rangers.

-Adam Boqvist came back into the line up off of the protocol list, but Alex Texier fractured his finger and will be out for a while. A soul for a soul.

-I was already ready to shut it off by the 1:30 mark of the first. Can we please stop giving up goals early like this?

-Both Sean Kuraly and Boone Jenner were very close to a hatty tonight. Both scored two. I am very happy.

-I was scared we would have blown our 4-2 lead since we kept getting called for Holding. Thankfully, our PK was worth a damn and held firm.

-Korpi had a good game today. Made a few great saves. Nice to see.

-Tomorrow, I will make a “Mid-Season Report” post. I’m gonna sleep on it tonight so I can think of everything I want to say about the boys. It’ll definitely be a lot longer than a regular PGN post.

The person who did was not a very sane person. 1st overall pick vs 15th overall pick? Caufield should be compared to Boldy, Newhook, Krebs, Podkolzin & York

If Im Vancouver I would put Halak on market now and ride Demko/Martin for the rest of the season

Florida/Winnipeg/Edmonton could be destinations

Would definitely be a good idea that’s being looked at. Would have to get Halak to waive us NMC. Spencer Martin Vezina season baby!

I dont see why he wouldnt waive as its still uncertain if Canucks are gonna make the playoffs

To early to say rn but I dont get the sense he wouldn't waive to go to a competitor like Florida. The other 2 are teams who could really use a backup/goalie rn. So of those 3 I would say Florida is the one he would probs waive for.

Well it’s been reported he had a chance to sign with Tampa at the beginning of the season. I hope he waived so we can maybe get a mid round pick for him and clear some cap space for next season (signing bonuses)
