I think he's always been solid defensively (he had an 85% EVD rating in jfresh's model last season on the Hawks, who were notably not good), but I think the Sutter system has definitely improved his PK. I'm not sure what his underlying stats are this year on the PK, but the Flames PK is #5 in the league right now (it would be better if we didn't play the Oilers lol, 4 of the 19 power play goals allowed have been in the 2 games against Edmonton), and Zadorov has looked fine there from the eye test (he's PK2, generally seems fine because all he really has to do is stand in front of the net and shove the screen out of the way). Sutter does really like having a bottom pair that is huge and prevents anyone from ever getting to the inside/front of the net. He can occasionally get turnstiled because he's slow af, and he can't make a breakout pass to save his life, but he does have a decent shot, decent defensive instincts, and of course is big and physical, so Sutter likes him. I wish they'd give Valimaki a shot, because I think having a puck-mover on the 3rd pair would benefit the team as a whole (the Zadorov-Gudbranson pair somehow owns a 58.9% xG%, although their actual goals percentage is only 43.3%, but neither of those guys can move the puck up the ice), and Hanifin is more than capable of taking his spot on the PK with Andersson, but it doesn't look like Sutter even wants to try that, which kinda sucks.

Haven't heard anything bad from Vegas fans about him. In fact every time I saw him he was making a smart play or doing what he was supposed to

I’d say it’s more that there’s so many idiots part of Montreal media which is also why Montreal is an extremely hard market. However, Chiarot fetching a 1st is definitely possible, same for Lehkonen ( Barclay Goodrow type deal ) though someone like Petry, while not a cap dump, will not have too much value

It's not our expectations. It's what we've been told.

Lehkonen = IMO A 2nd at best, but Friedman & Seravalli both said there was A LOT of demand for him so you have to expect a bidding war. A 1st isn't out of question especially considering his defensive metrics

Chiarot = Habs are asking for a 1st + and there seems to be teams interested so I don't think this should be any surprise

Toffoli = Habs don't have to trade him and teams are calling so obviously you're going to want an overpay

Petry = He's **** this year, but again, the reporters are saying teams know his situation and will still pay for a potential Norris contender.

It's not Habs fans, its reporters + analysts telling us this

That's because real Vegas fans don't exist. They're pretty much all bandwagoners.

Yep. We'll see what Vegas is made of when the team goes into a rebuild. That's usually when you find out how strong the fanbase actually is

Nope. They have bandwagoners. You can't tell the difference until they're **** (you get to see who actually like them for them)

All teams have fans, some are just more prominent but teams like Florida or AZ, when the team does good, they have jam-packed arenas, when they suck, attendance dips, that probably applies to most teams too
