Giroux makes $8.25M. Do those trade work for the other team's cap hit or will Philly need to retain and/or take salary back?

I think of all the teams traded to in this AGM, COL benefits the most from Girioux. I figured when I saw Newhook, AVS fans would say no. What do you think COL would be willing to give up?

1st and either one of Barron or Helleson with retention. Anything really beyond that avs walk away

I like Giroux but he has a NMC, he will dictate where he wants to go. Hes not waiving it for any team, so if they flyers ask him to waive to that team and they dont accommodate his wishes bc they were trying to grind more value out of that team just for them to walk, thats such a bad look for the front office

Try going back to Giroux and saying yeah we didnt give you the chance to go after a cup bc we wanted another draft pick, but wanna come back and sign with us even though we are a dumpster fire and need to rebuild?

Giroux is a rental, these packages are unrealistic, especially given the fact that Giroux is just as likely to re-sign in Philly next season.

No, no, and no. All three teams decline. Especially Canes and Avs. Giroux is no longer the player he used to be. He is an aging veteran rental, who won’t even resign with another team if he gets traded. If this were the Giroux from say, 2010-14, I would say maybe, but right now, that is just way too much for Giroux.

Obviously all 3 teams say no, but... your take on Giroux seems a little lazy.

He's on pace for 70+ points again on a team that can't score...

That's an easy no for the Avs. I think Flyers fans are going to be disappointed in how little they get back for him.
