Great pick with Jokiharu, I was strongly considering him at 33. Surprised he lasted this long. He's got great offensive instincts too

Yeah, was very hesitant to trade down from 36, glad he was still there

If you'd like to do a deal before we talk Panik I'm looking to get couple extra picks in the future rounds. I'm looking at your 3rd (DAL) and 4th (TB) and 4th (FLO). I'd give back a 5th and a prospect for those three picks. Any package of these: Rasmussen, Svedberg, Noel, Highmore, Baun?

Hard to say, from what I have read he has it figured out. Set expectations super low at the start and then every small improvement you make in the future will be amplified

Good that Jake is starting to finally come around mentally. But the entire draft class was there 3 years ago. Essentially wasted 3 years of prime development being pretty immature. Whats a given for 99% of players is an accomplishment for JV. So know thats hes figured out the easiest part of being a player -wanting to improve- now comes the hard part -actually improving-

Is he someone you'd be interested in moving at all? I'm not certain what to think about him as he has all of the tools to be successful, but he has yet to shown the tangible results on the ice.

                                                What would your offer be

I'd probably start with either a third round pick, or a swap with scott kosmachuk. Would be happy to negotiate and listen to what you think a fair deal would be compared to that.
