Description

Trade is cheap I'd say, probably add another piece or upgrade Behrens to Helleson (lots of value to get 2 years of retention). But Kane has a NMC so that lowers the price.

Why if he waived the NMC it's up to Colorado if they want to keep it, so why would it lower the price.

Sure in a vacuum COL would take Kane, but why empty a big chunk of the cupboard for something you don’t need? Plus CHI has reportedly said the 3 untouchables are Kane, Toews and Jones.

Not enough. COL doesn't make sense cuz the hawks aern't moving him to you without newhook or byram going back and COL won't do that and also already scored a ton of goals. Improve your 2nd pair RD instead

Both teams decline. Colorado doesn't need a 1st line winger. Hawks won't move Kane due to his NMC.

I mean, this is a pretty big haul. But, I think both the Avs & Hawks would want a change: rplc Kaut & Behrens with Barron. Avs get to keep their B-prospects and the Hawks get a 2nd A-level prospect.

Kane doesn't address the Avs defensive and PK needs. It makes no sense for them to spend so much in a place of low need.
