Where did EF report that MAF would nix a WAS trade? From everything I'm hearing in CHI, it sounds like he just wants a consistent address for his kids sake so that they're not moving around alot. He would likely be looking for an extension wherever he went, but that's not likely in PIT. I 100% understand he'd still probably waive to go back to PIT, but I don't think he'd nix a trade to EDM or WAS.

Not EDM, but WSH yes. He's been rivals with that team since he first started his career. Trust me, if I was Fleury right now, I wouldn't want to go to WSH because he's beat the caps in the playoffs and the caps have beat him.

They had to let go of Fleury at the time. Murray won two ups back to back (Of course it didn't work out after that). But the part with his family is my point. Fleury already knows the city of Pittsburgh. he goes to WSH? its gonna take some time to get used to and I have a feeling he won't play great for the first month because he's wearing that Jersey

I think it'll be a bit more than that, BUT he won't be going for big dollars. He'd ask for a FULL NMC though and that would be a good thing for both he and PIT.
