Hawks management has stopped messing around with him. They just said...go be yourself! In training camp this year, Bowman sent Strome to the 4th line as a winger....and even worse when Strome wanted to play his natural position of center...they sent him to play with the prospects. It was mind boggling how badly Bowman messed around with Strome.

I thought it was trading away Wideman and playing Clague there, which is the complete opposite of a fix.

I'm not a fan, I like Dumba but I don't like the idea of the Habs trading away 1st round picks.

I figure they are not going to rebuild for at least 2 more years so why not go with it and actually fix the current team

That would be a huge mistake to not start rebuilding now when there are two franchise changing players at the top end of the draft next year
