I feel like the only time Zaitsev gets you even a neutral value coming back is in the last year of his contract, with retention. He's just bad...

Sens aren't getting value for Zaitsev, even if it's just the difference between a 4th and 5th. Best solution is probably a buyout

Oilers didn't want Tyler Ennis for nothing in the off season, they won't trade for him now.

The Oilers need actual upgrades of their line-up in terms of quality, not just adding more bodies.

Ennis is an actual upgrade he is a good forward and would be better than most of the guys that we have tried in our bottom 6 it would foolish to reject that trade.

I like the guy overall but he doesn't bring anything the Oilers need to the table. If the Oilers wanted him, he likely would've signed for another year at a similar price point and not cost assets but the Oilers never offered him a contract. The Oilers are imminently bringing in Kane and wouldn't be surprised to see Holloway after the all-star "break". Both of those guys bring offensive talent with size and play a physical game. The Oilers are already too easy to play against, adding a 5'9" 161lb skilled forward for the bottom 6 doesn't help.

My projected lines once the team is healthy:

              Kane-McDavid-Yamamoto
              Hyman-Draisaitl-Puljujarvi
              Holloway-RNH-Foegele
              Shore-McLeod-Kassian

              Scratches- Ryan, Benson
              Minors/Taxi- Perlini, Sceviour
