Deadline and Next Year

Created by: PubGoatHead
Team: 2022-23 Buffalo Sabres
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 27, 2022
Published: Jan. 27, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Pieces shipped off at the deadline to teams looking for depth for their hopeful deep playoff runs in return for mainly draft assets.

Hronek - Olofsson trade and Rakell signing the bigger moves of the offseason.

Peterka, Quinn, and Power will be ready for full time roles next year.

Still a lot of cap room to work with. Trying to be realistic and havin' fun ;)

Hard pass from Detroit. We need a top 4 RD more than another winger

Quantity does not equal quality. Detroit declines.

We're not trading Hronek unless it's part of a package that returns us a top pairing LHD or 1b center...

Is Hronek not a RD?

I meant that we need Hronek a RD more than Olofsson a winger.

Wings only trading Hronek for a good experienced LHD or a 1B center. Wingers are not what Wings need.
