I'm currently working on updating my rankings but why the drop on Seamus Casey and McConnell-Barker?

Also, a couple of names that could be added to the sheet are Sam Rinzel ( ranked 46 and 47 by Button and McKenzie ) and Colton Smith ( ranked 91 by Draft Prospect Hockey, 64 by Button and an HM for McKenzie )

Great list as always, @BruinsFan35.
Here are some of my reactions on guys that I would have expected higher and lower.
I have added a few names at the bottom that also may have been left off.

Too low
5. Cooley (think he is a lock for top-2)
16. Miro
17. Slaf
26. Kasper
46. Mintyukov
110. Lamoureux

Too high
8. McGroarty
12. Nelson
18. Robertson
21. Persson
24. Gustafson
33. Trikozov

One guy that is ineligible for draft
167. Ilya Usov

Some d-man left off who will likely get drafted in 2nd or 3rd round:
- Sam Rinzel
- Matthew Morden
(two very high ceiling big d-men who can skate very well)

Some d-man left off who will likely get drafted in late rounds:
- Ryan Healey
- Kent Anderson
- Jackson Edward
- Vsevolod Komarov
- Jackson Dorrington

Some forwards left off who will likely get drafted in late rounds
- Aidan Castle
- Zam Plante
- Josh Davies
- Nicholas Moldenhauer
- Cedrick Guindon
- Maddox Fleming (has rebounded a bit after his switch)
- Jack Harvey
- Samuel Savoie
- Reid Schaefer
- Roman Kechter

Surprised by Casey's and Slafkovsky's drops as well. Overall great rankings, as always.

Great list as always, not going to nitpick any rankings. We all have our favourites.

Omissions you may want to consider.
Brady Berard
Brady Stonehouse
Jackson Dorrington
Lukas Gustafsson
Kasper Magnussen
Leighton Carruthers
Niklas Kokko
Karri Aho

I’m with @NHLfan10506 IMO Cooley is the 2nd best (maybe 1st) player in this draft. Crap shoot who goes 2nd overall but whoever drafts this guy is going to get a player. I get real Zegras vibes from Logan.

Also if any of my omissions are on your list, my bad. I looked at this from my phone

These are awesome, could you tag me in the future? I think you just forgot Christian Kyrou (D), he's near a p/gp in the OHL right now, pretty sure this is his first year of eligibility. Really great rankings, love to see other people's opinions. Great job!

It mostly looks realistic to me.
You're high on NTDP (4 in top 14) and much higher on Nelson than I am. Sure, that's not impossible.
At least one goalie "must" be selected in the middle of 2nd round; my pick is Leinonen.
Fans prefer skilled forwards, GMs prefer boring D-men. Coincidence or not, you got almost "average" number of D-men selected.
You got 9 in top 32, 10 in 33-64 range and 11 in 65-96 range. Averages of last 10 drafts: 9.6 for top 32, 10.9 for 33-64 range, 10.5 for 65-96 range. Averages of last 5 drafts: 10 in top 32, 11.8 in 33-64 range, 11.2 in 65-96 range.
Maybe you're a bit high on international and low on Canadian players. I guess 19 Euros in top 32 would be new record. 19 Euros and 8 Canadians in 1st round? That looks unlikely to me. No Canadians between no. 24 and no. 39 and only 1 between no. 18 and no. 39? You're Bruins fan, it's your duty to hate Canadians, but that will not happen.
I love your effort, but you're too hard on your neighbours from the North.

It’s supposed to be a better year for CHL, but not necessarily for Canada. (next year…Canadians will dominate).

Agree with a couple of the folks above...Cooley could very well surpass Savoie at 2OA

If you read what has come out from central scouting and in Bob McKenzies list, Cooley has definitely surpassed Savoie. Dan Marr said it’s “two-man race” for #1 overall between Wright and Cooley. McKenzie said scouts had Cooley just behind Wight, but is a “significant threat” to unseat him.

It sounds a little like 2017 when Hischier eventually passed Patrick late in the cycle.

I get more MacKinnon vibes from Cooley. Everything is done hard, fast, with purpose.

I get that it won’t happen like this in the draft. My rankings (nor anyone else’s) will be exact to how the draft goes. It’s just who I value above and below the prospects eligible this year. I will admit a bias for the NTDP tho, love watching them.

Yeah I tag whoever comments on at least one of the rankings that I’ve posted this year. You’re now in the club

I will admit a bias for the NTDP tho, love watching them.

If loving your country is wrong, I don't wanna be Wright.

Just re: Wright/Cooley…I kinda worry about the actual development from the US program.

These are awesome, could you tag me in the future? I think you just forgot Christian Kyrou (D), he's near a p/gp in the OHL right now, pretty sure this is his first year of eligibility. Really great rankings, love to see other people's opinions. Great job!

I would liked to be tagged in future ones of these.

Really good raking. But i continue to think that # 157 Jakub Kopecky is not a player for the draft. Although, I have to admit that he made a bit of progress, but I still think that he is not among the 224 players in the draft and at the moment he is not even among the top 10 slovak forwards suitable for this draft. As I said last time, I have nothing against him personally.
These 10 forwards have a performance and a potential ahead of him.

Tier 1 - 100% drafted
1.Juraj Slafkovsky
2.Filip Mesar

Tier 2 - 90% drafted
3.Servac Petrovsky
4.Adam Sykora
5.Maros Jedlicka (D+1)

Tier 3 - 25% drafted
6.Alex Sotek

Tier 4 - almost certainly be undrafted, but, they are still before Jakub Kopecky
7.Peter Repcik (bad first half od the whl season, only a great second half of the season in qmjhl can change that)
8.Adam Zlnka (knee injury and will not play until the end of the season)
9.Patrik Gabriel (in the national team shows big potential, probably incorrectly developed in the club)
10.Pavol Stetka (plays only czech junior league)

Tier 5 - undraftable
Jakub Kopecky, Jakub Krizan and etc.

Draft stock of # 205 David Natny also dropped from the start of the season, and I can say that he is no longer considered a draftable player. Maybe next season, he has tools and potential, but his current season, apart from HGC, is weak..
