Not a Florida fan but I would expect the ask to be super high as Knight is one of the best goalie prospects in the game. I would imagine he’s only available in a package involving one of Bratt, Hischeir, or Hughes which I doubt will be happening. Odds are they just hold onto him

They can't afford the cap of any of those players. But I agree that the ask would be quite high.

This trade doesn't really make sense for the Devils in my opinion. We've got 2 young goaltenders playing great in the AHL and Blackwood shouldn't be tossed to the curb so easily. We just need a goaltender that doesn't break before the season starts.

Thought about that but think Devils would be (a) retaining on Sevs, (b) maybe adding a piece depending on Priskie's value.

That’s just some guys rumored ask. No way would they give up knight and lundell for who would be a third beat d man on the team. But knight is the future goalie of this team. Yeah bobs huh contract for 4 more years is in the way but they’ll make it work one way or another. Knight isn’t gonna be for sale unless for some crazy trade idea that would only happen in nhl22.

I feel like you’d have to send a really really good player back — Hischier or someone like that. Not exactly affordable
