I don't see where Eichel puts Vegas over the cap. He hasn't been a 10m cap hit this year to Vegas

No.

Obviously Vegas will pull a Kucherov: stall his "ready to play" status until playoffs and keep their depth, just like TB did.

no we dont, we have YET to pay to move an asset, Dadnov is a very useful top 9 player, we certainly might not get anything if hes who we choose to move, but we wont be paying. I beat that drum with Fleury for 2 years and was correct

I dont think thats their plan at all. They want him on the ice. Could see it with another player to keep him from moving, but we'll see Jack Eichel on the ice by march at the latest

eh idk, i know smith's been hot and cold which is a detriment to the playoffs but keeping the misfits together is good for the locker room. they seem out of it right now because of the looming trade that'll happen once eichel is ready

for sure, what im trying to emphasize is we have YET to pay someone to take on a player. The guys that come up are Tyler Johnson with term and a high contract, they are very easily moved assets. We wont be paying, one team always bites.
