Yeah, there's still definitely upside for him as a part of this team's future. He's a solid defensive forward with more skill than his production suggests (Nick Paul was a notable drag on him offensively, and Dadonov couldn't score to save his soul), and he's so clearly a huge part of the team culture.

Absolute worse case, and he's completely unacceptable as an option going forward, the buyout is absolutely nothing. 875k is so minimal even for 6 years.
