it's not that huge, if at all. St. Louis has a really deep prospect pool, so they can afford to lose a guy like Perunovich. Also, it sucks to lose Parayko and a first, but it won't be a high first, and the Blues really need a guy like Miller for a deep playoff push. Adding Motte is a huge upgrade over Bozak/Kostin, so that's why I think it is a fair trade for both sides.

Blues need defense not another forward so it's a horrible deal for the blues. The blues top 9 is Tarasenko, Kyrou, O'Reilly, Thomas, Schenn, Perron, Buchnevich, Barbashev, Saad. There is not need for JT Miller even though he is really good. Need Parayko way more than they need Miller
